This is HERSELF magazine, the All-Illustrated biannual fashion publication, OUT NOW. In collaboration with London's Studio ANNUAL, I have been working on it in the past months, travelling the web and the earth in search of whole new worlds.
High from my heels (so often by Alaia), I have encountered the most incredible woman, selected unbelievably beautiful pieces, spoken with legends, met my heroes.
I have been looking for the meaning of details, got lost in the jungle, found ancient icons, spotted a fine red thread, talked to ladies the word beyond was created for.
To welcome HERSELF Issue One- The Portrait Issue and its illustrated world, six talented, elegant and very inspiring women known as Anna Dello Russo, Giovanna Battaglia, Miroslava Duma, Mary Katrantzou, Delfina Delettrez and Margherita Missoni have handed us their own Self-Portrait, painted with their very own words!
